I wish it could be -0 stars! The people in the (scam) I mean service department are absolutely the worst! They tell us we can fix your problem for $640.92 and you will be able smog it absolutely! Well ...we okayed the work. And guess what happened next! Now it's gonna be only an additional $2600. To absolutely fix it this time Yay me!! I told her if we would have been told the truth begin with we never would have okayed the repair! The car is not even worth $2600. I told her we cannot afford that. Well next thing she says is that's cheaper than buying a new car and they even have financing! YAY!! She has got to be kidding me. Then she had the nerve to say she never said that it would smog. I told her she lied to us and all she would say was "Have a nice day" This is a COMPLETE rip off joint! BEWARE!Review from Diane M

I gave ****/**** and ***** a down payment of $3000 cash and my Chrysler 200 for a Sentra. The contract was trash and I was overcharged by thousands on the Sentra and only given $2500 for my 2013 Chrysler 200 and 2 days later they advertised it for $7000. **** didn't even check with my credit union that I wanted to use. He went with Arrow head credit union out in **************** where the interest was much higher than mine. I took the Sentra back and **** said I "sold it back to them" "like the sale never happened". But he had my $3000 down payment that I said I'd wait in the building for. I waited an hour and was advised that I couldn't get my money that day, they would ***** it or I could come back another day and pick it up. I told him to OVERNIGHT IT, he said he couldn't guarantee that I'd get it next day. It didn't come next day. This dealership is a scam, thieves and liars and I filed a complaint with the *** Investigations naming names and will file a small claims suit against them. Next complaint will be to State. I'm a retired paralegal and I can tell you, this dealership should be shut down. **** could go to jail for blatant fraud. My claim will go to Pedder Group llc. This is criminal.. taking advantage of a 72 year old woman who's partially disabled.Review from Shondra C

I went to Pedder on 4/19/24 and was told I needed front and back brakes and tires. I was quoted nearly $830 for the brakes. **** told my front brakes were at a 3 and back were at a five. We to *** Boys 4/21/24 and the guys ask me to come outside and see something. The guys showed me how brakes were measures and my brakes were at a 8. No brakes were needed at this time. Tires were needed per both shops on my 2020 Nissan. They also said that my lug nuts were overtightened. This is sad that customers are lied to because they are vulnerable and don't have car knowledge. People work hard for their money and should not be treated this was. I have both inspection documents as proof. Never again will I go there!!Review from John W.

The group of auto dealers connected to this group. All parties involved LIE to prospects. Do not trust anything you are told.Do not believe what you are buying from the auto is as what it is actually.Review from Paul S

After advertising our vehicle on several internet sites, we had no luck selling. Probably because we live 100 miles east of ********** in a smaller community. So, we were excited when Pedder Nissan offered to buy our car at a reasonable price. We confirmed the agreed price before driving to ***** **, which is over an hour drive. We were told, "as long as it passed inspection, we had a deal at the agreed price." When we arrived at Pedder Nissan, the vehicle was taken in for inspection. It passed inspection as we knew it would. Pedder Nissan came back with an offer of over $5000 less than they agreed. We are senior citizens and I guess they thought they could take advantage of us. When we told the manager we had an agreement in writing, he simply said " it was a mistake." This dealership obviously practices in a bait and switch, or they take advantage of senior citizens. Either way, Pedder Nissan is one of the most dishonest dealerships I have ever dealt with.Review from Maria G

Hi *****, Thank you for reaching out, we do indeed provide paper receipts and digital copies during any transactions; we're also more than happy to print a physical copy for you upon request. It appears your maintenance contract expired, we then provided you with a courtesy three year contract in an attempt to improve your experience at our store. As our Service Manager personally explained to you, the sensor issue was caused by a chip in your windshield. We provided photos of your vehicle prior to service which shows the existing chip, we regret your statements accusing our team of causing any issues. We wish you the best in your future visits, do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.Review from Sandra E.

Sorry everyone I'm finally venting it all out!! Pedder Nissan owner David p***** totally took advantage. I went to Pedder Nissan when I had enough money saved in August of 2020 I went in with $13,000 to put towards a $19,000 vehicle which was the Chevy Malibu. At the time my daughter had just passed away and the reason for the Malibu is because I taught her how to drive in a vehicle just like that I had rented before. I was harassed a month later to go back and do a resign to take off some $4000 paint warranty and comes out to be that $4,000 paint warranty was never deducted off the total cost.Review from Belen C

They were trying to place us in cars that we were not even interested in. We weren’t asked anything of our preferences or budget. We had to explain our budget and then they said not much options. It seemed like they wanted to rush and scoot us. Finally we got to test driving a car and things were fine until paperwork. For some reason they had my partners info on the paperwork even though we clearly said we didn’t want it on the application. They wanted a copy of his ID. We thought it was weird because he gave his DL strictly for test driving. Then the finance employee came out and apologized because my partners info and my co-signers info were mixed. When it came to finance. It was rushed and stressed because he was the only one there. He told me to sign and continue not giving chance to read my contract. Everything was done and I didn’t even get my contract copy.(Still I don’t have a copy) After one day of having the car, it was having issues and we wanted to take it back. They detailed the car and took some stickers off which hid damages and left scratches on the car. They kept the car in service and said it will take a day or two which is an inconvenience we didn’t get out rental (Another lie) We talked to the sales manager and let him know the issues. He basically told us there’s nothing he can do that there’s no cooling off period in California. I made it clear I didn’t want the car and it’s issues. He wanted to make us stay with the car. He also tried to switch us to cars that were higher than our budget, $40 more on the payment and $1000 more down on the deposit. One of vehicles was literally traded in a within a couple hours before getting there. I don’t see how they manage to get a trade-in and know it’s fine to sell within a couple of hours? I still didn’t get my copy of the contract, and they were making my time stressful, and comes to find out they ran my partners credit 3 times without his approval or signature.Review from Darren M

I went to Pedder Nissan on April 1st 2023 with my partner and cousin to help them get a car. Not only did this company add on 3,000 right away to the price of the car they wanted to get they rushed them into it and I test drove the Car so they wanted my DL for test driving purposes only I thought to come home that night having my credit ran 3X'S without my permission or even me giving them my SSN. I feel my rights were violated! This company is full of scammers and they wanted 1000 more the next day after we brought the hybrid back because the hybrid battery wasn't keeping a charge. They are now trying to keep our $3000.00 down deposit. The bank already reversed the contract because we also let them know what was going onReview from John G

Friday, March 24, 2023 I sold on February 21 my 2023 Hyundai Elantra to Pedder Nissan. We agreed on a price. The salesman (Santiago) told me to expect a check within two to three weeks. Today is March 24, 2023. I DO NOT HAVE MY MONEY! The stated reason they did not cut a check on February 21 is that they needed the title, although the title is guaranteed. This policy stems from one bad incident. This, to me, means Pedder Nissan does not trust anyone, but expects people to trust them. The only conclusion I can draw from this month-long melee is that Pedder Nissan is doing their devious best to screw this pensioner out of $1,227.02. This is a MAJOR CAR MANUFACTURER franchised dealership! I left two messages on Thursday, March 23. I received a reply via voice mail today, Friday. Santiago said the check is in the mail. He spoke these same words on Monday, March 20, after he informed me the store received the car’s title. I know that no mail will be delivered to me today. I called him shortly after hearing his message. I demanded that, if anyone at Pedder Nissan had a modicum of decency, then someone would hand-deliver the check to me. He said there was nothing else he can do. This dealership’s behavior throughout an otherwise common and simple process and transaction is deplorable. The General Manager, Dallas F***, as well as salesman Santiago, are at best a substandard dealership employee and manager. They demonstrated disrespect to belligerence to chicanery. If you decide to shop for a car at Pedder Nissan, I strongly suggest, CAUTION you to keep your hands on your wallet. It is an understatement to say they are not trustworthy.
