I am absolutely disgusted at the service we receive from Big Ben********* Cleaning Services. When we received of service call from the member who would be cleaning our furnace and ducts he was disappointed that we still wanted him to come dispite a 5 hour delay. Understandable that issues come up, but acting irritated because the customer still wants you to show up that day is not acceptable. Upon arrival, two mats were laid on the floor (which I appreciated) however they took all the gear to our basement on wet equipment- due to the rain and never protected our carpet. They also brought in pylons to protect our walls and baseboards that were never used. To get to the basement furnace room, our baby gate needed to be removed. The employee pulled it from the wall and railing leaving damage to our wall. Decent enough damage that we had to patch the wall and paint over it. When we were paying, my husband asked if we could have a few vents taken off the final price due to the damage. The staff member blamed us for the damage to our wall and stated that it would have happened even if he asked for help removing it. He reluctantly took off the cost of three vents. After they left, I noticed the master bathroom floor and vanity were covered in dust and debris. This was less than ideal but I figured it was an accident and they didn’t notice. My husband and I have used Big Ben in the past and had a more positive experience. However, I am honestly in shock at the complete explosion of dust, dirt and debris that is all over our basement (see pictures). The crew had mechanical issues on their van earlier so they may have had a bad day. But that does not excuse the layer of dirt and debris that is all over our basement, our kids bedroom, our guest room, baby clothes, carpet, books, pictures… It’s everywhere. We are so disgusted and disappointed in our experience with BigBen********* Cleaning Services. We feel like our home was vandalized. We will never use them again.
