I brought my car in to have my clutch repaired.After my car was repaired it had an issue with the electrical system.I replaced the battery the help of a friend who is a mechanic.The vehicle still had the electrical problems. I brought it back to Heritage Auto and tire repair. They tested the new battery and told me that a ground wire was not properly replaced and that it was fixed. My mechanic friend was with me and did not think they had fixed it. I trusted Heritage auto and paid the $****** for their work. I drove it home.It was not fixed. Within minutes of driving the car from work, I started to experience the exact same problems. I was on a busy road, **************, when my electrical failed and had a genuine fear for my safety. I brought it in right away to Heritage Auto and tire. I was told that the owner would contact me to discuss this is. When the owner called he was rude and dismissive. I have paid for a repair to the alternator belt which should have been part of the first repair.I am hoping that this repair has fixed the problem. If they have not fixed it, I will be looking at legal options.Frankly, They did not fix the problems of the car when I brought it in for the eletrical problems and I suspect that they may have caused the problems when they repaired the clutch. At the very least, I would hope that this business would return the $****** for the incomplete repair.I am looking for a different mechanic and I will be letting my neighbours In Acadia and Fairview know about the poor customer service I experienced.
