I bought a phone back in April 7th 2025, at future tech in the new Sudbury shoping centre. The cell phone wasn't working properly, so I returned to the business where I purchased the phone to speak with the manager or one of the customer service **** there to have the phone looked at or replaced. They took my cell and said they fixed it. The next day I returned cause it still wasn't working properly. He gave me a new cell in exchange for the one not working. I recently activated it and this ******** cell continues to turn itself off. More problems. The staff suggested putting in a new motherboard, however I was told the cell was brand new so why should a motherboard be replaced.. I feel that the customer service that was provided is not satisfactory and in the end I would like money back and I will shop elsewhere.

    Business Response

On April 7, 2025, Mr. **** purchased a ******* A05 phone. Within two days, he returned to the store stating that he had locked himself out of the device after forgetting the password and was unable to use the phone. As a courtesy, and in good faith, we exchanged his unit for a brand-new replacement under our warranty policy. At the time of the exchange, Mr. **** was informed that this replacement would be considered a final sale.

Several months later, Mr. **** returned again, claiming that the replacement phone was not functioning properly. Unfortunately, our warranty coverage for mobile phones extends for one (1) month from the date of purchase. In addition, Mr. **** was unable to provide the original receipt at the time of his later visit.

While we always strive to provide the best customer service and honor our warranty policies, in this case, the warranty period had expired, and the customer had already received a courtesy replacement. Therefore, we regret that we are unable to provide any further assistance regarding this matter.

We remain committed to treating our customers fairly and respectfully and to ensuring transparency in our policies.
