I am filing a complaint against Alliance Security Systems for misrepresentation and lack of transparency regarding courthouse panic alarms at ************************************************************************************ 2023, I was assaulted by a Crown Attorney while working at the courthouse. I pressed the panic alarm during the incident. However, when this matter was reviewed, Alliance Security produced an Internal Panic Review (dated May 14, 2025) signed by *** *****, VP Security Operations. The report claimed that between July and November 2023 all panic alarm activations were tests only and that no police were dispatched. This sweeping statement is not credible and was provided without any logs, timestamps, or supporting records. When I requested access to panic system records or surveillance, Alliance Security refused transparency and offered only this conclusory denial. This is deeply problematic for several reasons:1. Conflict of Interest: Alliance Security holds the courthouse contract. Admitting to a failure or real activation would reflect poorly on them, giving incentive to downplay incidents.2. Misrepresentation: It is highly unlikely that every single panic alarm in a busy courthouse over five months was a test. Such a blanket claim undermines trust.3. Lack of Transparency: Alliance Security provided no objective data, only a one-page summary.4. Public Safety Risk: If real panic activations are dismissed as tests, staff and the public may not be protected in emergencies.
