    painting the garage door resulted in breaking the chain and connecting bar of the garage door opener as the door got jammed. I called in a technician, who quoted the job for 150 dollars but he said he could not do it in a weeks time. Me getting worried as the door was half way open, I ******* *** called Lux Services seeing it as BBA accredited business. The technician came and said the whole garage door opener has to be changed and quoted for $1200, I asked for discount, he said $1150 final price. As he was finishing the job, he told me to change the pin ,rollers and some maintenance for 300. so the whole thing was for $1450. Upon completion, he told me to pay 2979.81. * *** ******* *** ******** *** *** **** ** ******* **** ** *** ***** ****** **** ** *** ****** ** *** ****** ** ***** **** ** ****. I further asked him, how can you do it as I initially told him that I ** **** *** *** cannot pay more than 1500 and at that time he said he will give me more discount in the end. I tried ******** the price of the garage door opener to which he started getting agitated. He asked me to sign in the signature box of something, which he neither showed what I signed nor he emailed it to me. I paid him the money by **** card and he sent me transaction receipt only charging the amount. Company never emailed or gave me the invoice showing the breakdown of services. After, I saw the garage door opener at **** ***** for $488 and on sale for $398. The pin cost 90 dollars. The whole job was under $1000 as I called other people. He gave me wrong information too to change the whole equipment as it was fine. I called company many times after wards, they said they didnot charge the money because my smile or eyes were good. I got to know while filing the complaint that they are not BBA accredited but their website shows they are BBA accredited ***** ** * **** *** ********* ******** **** *** *********** ***** ** **** ***** *** ****** ********** * ***** **** *** *** **** *** ********..
