We signed up with this business for driving lessons for my daughter first time. At first, they were answering my calls and speaking to me with any concerns that I had. When my daughter had a sick note from a medical professional, they told her her service would be on hold for six weeks as per policy. I attempted multiple times a week to contact them to discuss the medical reason so that she could resume prior to six weeks. The main goal to start November 2024 was for my daughter to have her drivers license as soon as possible so that she would have a lot of experience before the winter months which would prevent any accidents. This company refused to speak with me by telephone. It was impossible to reach them through email. When I showed up at the office, they told me not to contact them in person and through email only. We ended up switching schools. And they refused any type of refund.
When we are putting our reviews up on ******* they are calling us names
I would like some accountability for their ************** behaviour. I have many emails with proof

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: They are trying to avoid the issue and not taking accountability for their actions.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

I am writing to formally file a complaint against World Class Driving School located in Collingwood, Ontario, due to a series of highly ************** and inappropriate experiences my family has encountered with this business. Below are the details of our concerns:

    Poor Communication:
The school consistently refused to communicate by phone, limiting contact strictly to email. Email responses were extremely delayed, often taking several days, and when they did respond, the answers were vague and failed to address our concerns directly. This made the process of trying to coordinate lessons and obtain information very frustrating.
    ************** and **** Behavior:
The tone and content of the communications we did receive were often **** and dismissive. As paying customers trying to ensure the proper training of a young driver, we expected a higher level of courtesy and professionalism.
    Harassment and Retaliation for Reviews:
After posting an honest review of our experience, the company responded with personal and inappropriate retaliation. This included sending threatening messages via email and online platforms. Shockingly, they publicly referred to my 16-year-old daughter as “entitled” in a derogatory manner. This behavior is deeply concerning and **************. They **** in response claiming my daughter missed appointments which is untrue and I have all the emails to prove this.
Failure to Provide Services and Unclear Scheduling Practices:
We eventually switched to another driving school due to World Class Driving School’s repeated failure to cooperate with us. When we attempted to book lessons, we were repeatedly told to wait. They placed my daughter’s file on hold for over six weeks, citing only the existence of a sick note, without asking for any clarification or offering any support. Once they reopened scheduling, there was extremely limited instructor availability, further delaying her ability to complete the required lessons.
Refund Request Denied Without Just Cause:
Given the lack of service and unacceptable conduct, we requested a refund. This request was denied despite the fact that we had not been able to access the services we paid for.

We are requesting that the BBB continue investigate this matter and take appropriate steps to hold World Class Driving School accountable for their ************** conduct, harassment, and failure to provide services in a timely and respectful manner.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am happy to provide any additional documentation or correspondence as needed.
    Sincerely,

    ***** **** ****
