    Estimate attached for rust repair on vehicle with vehicle to be dropped off Mar 25, 2024 Paid $1,000 cash deposit on Mar 12 with 'Balance upon Completion' per estimate.Vendor (****) contacted me on Mar 25 - required full cash payment up front to do this work. This was not according to our agreement so Vendor would not agree to complete the work as per estimate *********** vendor refused to complete work, looking for refund of the $1,000 cash deposit paid.

    Rhino Rocker Panel, This customer had ********************************************** repaired, there was mechanical issues when he went to safety, so now he is trying to get some money back and lying to BBB about the work compleated. $1000.00 deposit was given  balance was paid on compleation , plus tax receipt was given.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Rhino (****) has me confused with someone else as he has not done any repairs to the vehicle.

    Deposit of $1,000 was given to Rhino prior to work on Mar 12, Rhino changed the terms of the Quote on Mar 25 which were not acceptable to me and so vehicle was not dropped off for intended repairs. As a result, I am looking for refund of the $1,000 deposit.

    **** at Rhino called me today (May 2) at 7:34 am this morning and yelled profanity and told me to F***ing go back to my home Country and hung up the phone.

    Today at 7:37 am, I received the following text from Rhino "Come shop today and I will give you all your money back"

    I went to Rhino shop at 1:10 pm with my wife present as witness - he said he had me confused with someone else and proceeded to yell profanity and upset that I contacted BBB and told me to leave his F***ing property.

    So no deposit was refunded.

    This customer is flat out a scammer, lying just to try and get money back, We are not confused with another customer, vehicle was dropped off for repair, repairs were compleated, customer picked up vehicle, payed the remaining balance. Then this complaint comes along, when asked what do you think is wrong with the job? He simply said nothing I just want some money back, with a big grin on his face.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    As per attached pictures taken today, no rust repair work has been completed on the vehicle. If so, as claimed by Business, please provide copy of final invoice & proof of bill payment.

    As Business altered the terms as per Estimate (Previously attached), and no work was done, looking for refund of $1,000 deposit. Thank you.
