    * ** ****** * ****** ********* ******* Dollar Power, regarding an unfair and discriminatory policy targeting minors. On August 29th, I gave my 13-year-old son and nephew $10 each to purchase snacks from Dollar Power. When they entered the store, a female employee told them that only one was allowed inside, and the other had to wait outside. My son complied and stood outside while his cousin shopped. When my son later attempted to enter, a male staff member yelled at him, saying: “We told you to stay outside.” When my son came home upset, I immediately called the store. The female employee confirmed this was their policy, stating they do not allow children to shop together, and that staff must follow this "policy". She also tried to justify the policy by saying: “Out of 100 people, there could be one bad person.” This explanation is troubling, as it clearly stereotypes all children as potential troublemakers. This experience had such an impact on my son **** ** ******** ** ** *** ***** ************* ******* ******* ** *** ***** * ********* *** **** it was not race-based but more likely age-related discrimination. The incident left him humiliated and singled out. This policy unfairly targets and discriminates against youth, prevents them from shopping safely together, and reflects poorly on the business. * ******** ****** ******** ******** *** **** ******** ******* ******** ******* ********* ************ ********* **** ******* **** ***** ******** **** ******* ******* ***** **** ** ***** ***** **** ** ***** ** ***** **** **** ***** **** **** *** **** *** **** **** **** ** ****** **** **** ********* ** ****** If the store has genuine concerns about theft, they should address them professionally by hiring a security guard, rather than by implementing discriminatory policies and treating children as potential *********. * ** ********** **** *** *** ****** **** ********* *** **** ****** ***** ************ ***** *** *** **** **** *** ********* ** **** *******
