Reached out to Marion renovation about getting a back door lifted and installed we found out that the staircase would need to be redone as well. Paul came up with a reasonable quote to do this job. He got this job done in a very timely manner and since than have not had any issues with shifting or anything overall very happy with the work thank you Marion renovation

Was happy with the siding that was done. Was not happy with the back door as it was not done properly. They never came back for final walk through. Was not happy because the front stairs I was going to move a plant and was not told when they were doing steps. Also, they took all summer to do the house. I paid really good money and I am not happy with the back door. He knew but never said anything. This happened last summer and in the winter I had snow coming in my back door.

Customer was aware of our work schedule from the start of the project. Client was told it would take up to 2 months to complete the job due to waiting on the ordered materials, door and windows. Client was aware of when she needed to move her plants. We did a final walk around, which included other workers present. In regards to the back door, customer's husband was going to complete the installation of the weather stripping around the door, as we were only responsible for the door installation. Client did not want to pay extra for the weather stripping.

    Every aspect of a small reno project went wrong. Mismeasuring, ordering the wrong thickness for countertop (then wanted me to pay restocking fee when I finally discovered their error), and more. Inital estimates are not detailed (**** ***** ** **** ******** **** *** ***** *** ***** **** ***** ******** ** ******* **** ** *** *** *** * ****** *****) Final invoice does not provide any breakdown of actual costs (**** ** *** ** **** ******).

    Good morning,
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
As per our previous conversation with the customer, the quote for the work was a flat rate. To clarify the quote includes all materials and labor as a package deal. Prior to starting the project, the customer was provided with a written quote which was a flat price for material and labor. The customer did not request a breakdown at that time. We had advised her to get at least 3 quotes for the project. The quote was accepted and a contract was signed using the quote prior to starting the project.
In regards to the countertop. The customer provided a sample of the desired piece of dekton that included the thickness and requested it specifically for the project. As per customer request, it was promptly ordered. The customer then explored other options and changed her mind regarding the type and thickness of material she wanted for the desired project. This was not discussed in the original quote. The original material was canceled and the new desired counter top was then ordered and installed as per customer specification. The original that was ordered was subjected to restocking fees. This was not part of the quote however we value your business and wanted to ensure customer was satisfied so we absorbed the cost of the restocking fee from the original request. Unfortunately, the materials the customer initially selected were not the thickness that would have suited for the project, however the customer was adamant that this was what she desired.
