    The ********* painted my house and decks beginning on 5 August till 8 September 2023.
    Already in march 2024 I noted that the paint was peeling off the deck in long strips. I sent them photos in April and May. They agreed that paint peeling in 6 months was not acceptable. They agreed to power wash it down and repaint it. Now it’s 3 months later and they don’t answer my texts at all. The paints continues to flake off.
    They had told me that the paint job should last a few years and that the paint company will guaranty the paint for a year. I am shocked that the paint is peeling off and that they won’t address the issue.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    ****** and **** have not given any real time line in their response. In fact they have been hedging with this same vague statement for 5 months.  I wanted this issue to be cleaned up and fixed, BUT now I have lost faith in them to follow up on the fixing this peeling  paint job. 

    In April when I first noticed that the paint, barely 7 months old, was peeling off the deck, especially when it rained, I immediately contacted **** and ******. We discussed how to fix this, I even offered to buy the new paint. They offered to pressure wash the decks because the excessive peeling paint was being dragged through the house. I asked them to power wash and repaint it.  I followed up in April, in May, and in June. By July they stopped answering and I turned to the BBB. 5 months is a long time to wait for a failed paint job to be fixed up.
