    Nature of Complaint:
    1. Udrivecar failed to notify me about a traffic ticket received during my rental period
    2. The company processed charges to my account without prior notice
    3. Due to their failure to inform me, I was denied my legal right to contest the traffic violation within the prescribed deadline

    Details of Incident:
    - I rented a vehicle from Udrivecar (8/31/2024-9/3/2024)
    - A traffic violation was apparently issued during the rental period
    - Udrivecar received the ticket but failed to forward this information to me
    - The company proceeded to charge my account for the violation without my knowledge
    - By the time I became aware of the situation, the deadline to contest the ticket had expired ******** ****** ********** This lack of communication from Udrivecar has directly resulted in:
    - Denial of my constitutional right to due process
    - Inability to contest the traffic violation
    - Unauthorized charges to my account
    - No opportunity to review or dispute the violation

    Requested Resolution:
    I am seeking the following:
    1. Full refund of all charges related to the traffic violation
    2. Written explanation of why proper notification procedures were not followed, Implementation of a policy ensuring timely notification to customers regarding traffic violations
    3. Compensation for the denial of my right to contest the violation

    I rented a vehicle from the Udrive Portage la Prairie location. Rental agreement number ****** I reserved the vehicle for September 27, 2024 to September 30, 2024. I picked up the vehicle at 10:13am on the 27th and I returned it at 8:22am on the 30th.

    I wasn’t aware that there were two locations and both locations are car dealerships with the name **** in it. I went to the location across the highway from the repair shop I left my vehicle at. There was no one there so I called the number at the desk and learned that the vehicle I would be renting was at another location. I stated that it would take me a bit to make my way there on foot. I was told that they would bring the vehicle to me.
    I went through the paperwork process but a price wasn’t mentioned so I asked to make sure it was the price quoted. I was told a price that was higher and questioned it. I was told that the 30th was a holiday so he added a day. I said no thank you that is what drop boxes are for. I was told I would be charged the quoted price of ****** for the original requested days.
    I asked where I should drop the car and asked where I would put the keys and was told the drop box was right by the garage doors. I took the vehicle and realized I hadn’t been given a rental contract so I called and asked for one. I was emailed one and the dates September 27-30, 2024 was on it with a price of ******.
    I returned the vehicle as stated at 8:22am on September 30th and put the keys in the drop box. On October 23,2024 a charge of ****** was placed on my credit card. When I questioned this I was told that I was charged until Oct.1, 2024 at 1 something in the afternoon so it added an additional 2 days to the price. I have been charged for time I didn’t have the vehicle. I want the money ************ taken from me returned.
