We hired this company for a move on March ***. The process of organizing the move was relatively seamless and the staff that we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The team members that arrived to do our move were friendly and appeared knowledgeable and confident in their abilities. The above considerations were not at all indicative of the horrible outcome of our move day. We are incredibly disappointed and angry with the lack of care that was taken with our belongings. We understand that mistakes can happen when moving but when you are hard pressed to find a piece of furniture that was not damaged in the move & when most of the pieces have multiple points of damage, it is clearly due to lack of care and professionalism. Furthermore, the runners they use to protect flooring are not clean when they lay them out - not only does this make your flooring dirty but the ************** scratch flooring as it is ground in when the crew walks across and moves furniture. We have not found any boxed items that are broken but we have not unpacked most of our fragile items as it is primarily decor and china. While sorting and organizing our items, we found tons of boxes (that were clearly marked with color coded stickers) that were not only in the incorrect room but even on the incorrect level of our home. There were boxes that were stacked upside down, a piece of gym equipment that was set down on the wrong side causing damage to our flooring, and heavy boxes stacked on furniture which left unnecessary impressions and/or skewed the cushion(s) and/or scratched the furniture when the box was slid across the surface. My husband has left * voicemail (* for ***** ***** and * for **** *********) indicating that he had some concerns and requesting a call back - he has had zero response. We were charged a $** deposit that was not deducted from the final payment. I have contacted the office via email and I followed up on said email with zero response either time.

Good to Go Moving has provided us with a refund of $*** - $*** to cover some of the furniture damaged and $*** for our inconvenience.  We are not completely satisfied with the way in which this was handled by the owner of the company and we do not feel that these funds are just compensation for the damage done and our overall experience.  That said, we are happy to have some form of resolution so that we can move on from this situation.
