I own my home and was looking to sell. I established a contract with the Galvin Group on May 3, 2022. As a retired senior with a very limited income I relied on my realtor to lead me through the process of selling my home. The only guidance I received over the last 2 months was to declutter. I have spent most of my saved funds on junk removal and sprucing up the place. The Galvin Group invited another realtor into my home who asked my daughter if my home had passed ************* my daughter and myself have never heard of ************ the realtor that they brought into my home told my daughter no money should be spent until the status of the Title V for the septic inspection is known. The Title V septic inspection is expensive at $650. Unfortunately my home did not pass, so a traditional mortgage or fha cannot purchase my home. This greatly changes who can purchase my home. I sent a letter through email and certified mail that I wanted to terminate the contract. ***** Galvin of the Galvin Group refuses to terminate the contract. The contract says that I have to notify them 20 days before the end of the contract August 3, 2022. I have done this. I do not want to sell my home at this time. ***** tries to communicate through phone to manipulate and confuse me, but I don't want to sell my home at this time. I want to make sure my contract is terminated because it will automatically be extended for 4 months after August 3, 2022. I don't want to be forced to continue to be tied to this company. ***** has given my personal contact information to a local realtor who has also called myself and my daughter. I do not want to be forced to sell my home that I own.
