I ordered a product from North Style, which falls under the Potpourri Group. They charged almost $14 in shipping for a shirt, and then listed a "carrier imposed surcharge" of $1.50. Isn't that the definition of shipping? I won't be buying products from them in the future.Review from Lora M

Beware of this online shopping site! I have ordered numerous times from this company in the past 2 years. I have received the items, often having to pay for shipping, (which many sites will give you free if you purchase a certain amount, but not NorthStyle!) I just discovered on a credit card statement that I have been paying for something every month called "PGI*NorthStyle VIP" since my first order! I never asked for this. I never agreed to this. But I was told I clicked on something!Shame on me for not checking my credit card statements thoroughly, I suppose that is what they were counting on. If I could give zero stars I would. This company Northstyle enrolled me in a VIP club. I was unaware and did not authorize it. I received no VIP benefits and actually returned what I originally ordered as it was shoddy. They have been charging my credit card for over a year. I did not notice it on my credit card bill. When I called to cancel they said I authorized it with my original purchase, but have not provided proof. They say they will cancel it and refund 6 months of premiums, but not the full amount. This appears to be an ongoing practice of this scam company, that has been going on for years. They even had a class action lawsuit at one time. I think it's time for another. I have a relative who is an attorney and I'm going to look into it. Please stay away from NorthStyle/Potpourri.Review from Avery J

Last time I bought something from this apparel catalog was early in 2023. They received my payment and I received the item -- no problem there. However, it has only come to my attention now (14 months later) that since then Northstyle (PGI Group) have been charging my credit card $16 every month for a total of $224. I have received nothing for this. I don't know how on earth I got involved in such a ridiculous scam but I'm prepared to suffer the consequences of not having scrutinized my credit card statements properly. Hopefully, though, my complaint is able to warn others before they do business with this company.Review from Joseph B

My wife bought a sweater online in Feb2023 from NorthStyle (PGI group ) a catalogue merchandise company/ address: ****************************************************) and paid by credit card. This was correct. However, Each month after that she was charged $18.45 for something called NorthStyleRewards. We did not authorize this charge verbally, electronically or in writing. Unfortunately, we did not catch it for 12 months. Our credit card was able to refund 6 months of the charges, but we could not get the other 6 months refunded. NorthStyle could not provide any evidence that we had ever signed up for their "Rewards" program. We got no benefits for their rewards program and NorthStyle did not notify us by any other means that we were in their "rewards program". Apparently, this company has been pulling this scam for several years now and no one is able to restrict them or penalize them. I have filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General. I highly recommend that you do not give this company your credit card number because you will be getting unauthorized charges places against your card in the future.Review from Ed F

Ed * 04/24/24 I placed an order over the phone. The salesperson quoted me a price that was higher than it should have been. Salesperson said this was due to a "delivery surcharge." But this surcharge shows nowhere on the order form. Salesperson said the surcharge is discussed on the company's website. I replied that this is irrelevant - that the surcharge must be shown on the order form that came with the catalog if it is to be legal. I told the salesperson that this was an illegal charge. She insisted on doing the surcharge, so I cancelled the order.Review from Aindi S

I ordered once from whatever works and have been billed monthly for ***** on my credit card. I called to inquire as to why this is happening since I have ordered nothing and received nothing. I was told since I took advantage of a ***** rebate it enrolled me in their rewards program at the cost of I pay them *****. Do not accept anything from this companyReview from MM S

Tried to place an order online (I have been ordering from NorthStyle for at least 10 years, probably more). I entered the entire order, about $400 worth of clothes. Enter my payment information, and get a message stating "WE'RE SORRY BUT WE CANNOT PROCESS YOUR ORDER We have encountered an issue processing your payment. For security purposes your email and IP address have been logged for further investigation. Call our customer service line at ************** for assistance.**************** Code: *******" I have tried for close to an hour to reach someone who can fix this problem. I don't want to place the order with their people, I want the ability to place my orders online. There is no problem with my credit card, I pay it off every month. I was transferred multiple times, supposedly to **************** level 2, but keep getting bounced back to sales people. The phone call center is a joke!Review from Amy P

Let the buyer beware - please be careful if you buy from the Potpourri Group - see the brands below:****************************************************** I have now been added to their VIP list twice which charges you $15.85/month. I did not sign up to be a VIP, did not click on any of their discounts, nor offers for free shipping. I was taken off in May, and just noticed that I am again getting charged. I will not be buying from them again.
