Unfortunately, Mr ****************** is his own worst enemy! It helps that we communicate these unfair dealings like this but Mr ****************** is actually breaking many laws and he should have his license pulled, or maybe spend some time in jail. He did the very same to me as he has done to every other customer filing complaints or reviews against him. He's preditorial in several ways. He has a history of stealing money from single women by seeing them as vulnerable, telling them what they want to hear and then disappearing until right before court. He actually comes on a little creepy in your home when speaking to him and his con-artist nature shines through. He's good at knowing who's vulnerable and he hons in on it like an animal hunting his prey! If you give a deposit for work he's suppose to be doing, he's suppose to put it in escrow unless he's directly using it to purchase specific equipment or supplies for that job, (labor does not get paid ahead of time) you have the right to see that purchase order to confirm purchased items and according to ***********************, he should not be asking for any more than 10% down. If he has spent or deposited your deposit without being able to prove said purchases, he is stealing! That's grand larceny, deceitful and illegal practices, among other things. I also gave him a 50% deposit down, $4200, against my better judgment for a new home generator. I had him sign a contract but that didn't keep him in line either. It took almost exactly 2 years to recover that money from Pedro and that was only because I knew my time was up @ 2 years to recover or file a law suit. I live near Pedro so I was able to document his address and work van existence several times. My paralegal backround lead me to researching and discovering a huge pile up of illegal cases against him over a 20 year period. He takes your money and figures he can just pay you before court and he's not breaking law. Untrue. within 3 days I RECEIVED CHECK, due to his pending arrest 4 fraud.
