On April 22, 2023 I responded to an ad on ******** for a **** Acura TL asking if the car had any issues. Gitgor(George) replied the following day stating No. I made a plan with him to see the vehicle April 24th between ****. I saw the vehicle took it out for the test drive all was good no lights on the dash no noises and the car ran fine so I made a deal to use my **** ***** Pilot as a trade in for the and use my title as a down payment. May 12th he sent me a text message asking when I would finish the deal. I reminded him that I was waiting for my school check to finish the payment. On May 18th I sent George a text message informing him that I would be coming in the following day (May 19th) to make the $2,300 payment. When I went to make the payment I say George sign the title and the bill of sale with the name of the previous owner and he told me he wasnt going to charge me the paper fee, the title was never transferred over to the dealerships name. I told George I would be back May 20th to swap out the ***** Pilot with the Acura TL because I needed to clean out the car. On May 20th I went to switch out the car and on my way home the check engine light turned on. I registered the vehicle May 23rd. On May 25th i went to inspect the Acura TL and the car failed inspection because the Catalytic Converter on bank 1 and 2 needed to be replaced as well as driver side signal light, 3rd break light, struts, passenger tire, back number, power steering leakage, flex pipe and exhaust needed work. I went back to George and told him the it failed ******** inspection, he said he doesnt deal with ** only MA and the the vehicle would pass ******** inspection. George refused to pay for it and dismissed all my concerns and told me his shop would have passed it because its over 15yo and all cars over 15yrs with check engine automatically pass inspection. Today May 30th I went back and he still refused to help me. I drive my step kids in an unsafe vehicle thats to a selfish liar.
