On September, 23, 2022 I bought a 2008 ****** Camry from The Car Palace in *******, ** for $8,885.00. It had ******* miles on it.On October 5, 2022 I had to bring it back to the dealership because the check engine light came on. The owner- ***********************************- told me that 2 coils on plugs on the engine had failed, so they had to replace all 4 of them.On October 19, 2022 I had to bring it back because the check engine light came on again for a different issue with the engine. The tire sensor light also came on because of an issue with a tire.In late December of 2022 my son mentioned to me that the heat was working but wasnt very warm. I checked and discovered that the engine coolant was slightly low, so I filled it up. A few days later it was low again. So I took it to a mechanic near our house and he said that the head gasket had failed and the engine had blown.I reached out to ****************************** and he told me to have it towed to The Car Palace and he would have his mechanic look at it and that we would work something out. But on January 9, 2023 he emailed me that the motor has a rod knock from overheating and there was nothing he can do to help me.The ************* ************************ told me that the Lemon Law does not apply in this case because there are too many miles on the car. My attorney suggested I reach out to the Better Business Bureau before we pursue the matter in civil court.
