my wife died in June 2022. The funeral directors, with whom I have no complaint whatever, ordered a memorial from Heritage.It was to form a base for a sundial, which I have, and would fulfill my wife;s wishes. It required a bronze plaque which Heritage ordered from another company. In early September I appoved the inscription. I had earlier, I think in August paid everything having accepted their quote and signed a contract. We were told the plaque had arrived in early October and given a date for installation the first week in November. They didn't turn up. No explanation or even notice that they weren't coming was give. We got an alternative date whis was December 12. They didn't turn up then either but another date, December 16 was given. They didn't turn up then again. The foneral director contacted them and she was told they were still waiting for the bronze plaque, thoug we were previously told they had it in October. They are not responding to phone calls or emails. am wondering if I am a victim of fraud and whether I should get lawyers involved. I am a grievind senio citizen , aged 76 and I desrve better, I don't have the capacity for scannong document, but I can send a fax'
