April 2022 ******* gave estimate for re-sodding whole front/right side yard, 1 pallet on left side yard to repair spot, and 2 pallets in rear yard where uneven. He looked/ suggested a different variety of sod for the front/right since it was being completely redone, and was going with other to match where it was to be partially resodded. I simply said I trust your expertise and that I just wanted to to match. Sent estimate, I agreed on 4-14-22, set install date of 5-11-22. They came as planned but 1 pallet was delayed as unavailable- came back 6-8-22 to lay 1 pallet left front. Fast forward- ******* gone now *****. Starting **** -Contacted ***** about 2 pallets in rear not matching- came looked. Said someone would come take sample to determine grass type. Over next 3.5 months I called/ left messages and emails for progress. *******/ ***** in the office was awesome but could not get ***** to call/email back. 9-30-22 received email from ***** stating that he would call the next week. On *****-22 he called and said the place never got back to him about testing. His offer was to refund the apprx $1400 for the 2 pallets that did not match and that he would come get the sod. I explained that not that it was almost winter that taking the sod and leaving bare ground to wash away wouldn't work. I was open to him taking it up in the spring, Would not work on solution, I asked for owners name - he would not provide and said owner would go by what he said. I then got the owners name- ******* and left message for him on ***** and several days following, On **** ******* finally called- spoke at length for over an hour, He offered 50% refund and stated removing sod was useless as they couldn't use. I didn't agree because I would still be out 50% and still need it repaired. He called ***** and said he would call back within a week- never heard from again .Front /side yards look great. **** doesn't match at all and very noticeable-I could deal with a minor variance,
