    I first initiated contact with Paulding in October to co-sign for a car. Without my knowledge, my co-signer was removed from the application, thus making me the sole party to the loan without my consent. Throughout the financing process, I was left completely in the dark by the sales manager and the finance team. I then received a call from the sales manager who proceeded to coach me on what to say to the bank financing the loan; I was told to provide fraudulent information to the bank in order to secure the loan. When I expressed severe discomfort with this, Paulding insisted that everything was above board, though all previous contact and behavior proved otherwise. Ultimately, I decided to back out of this deal. This was over a month ago. Since then, Paulding has proceeded to dodge my calls and the pattern of a lack in transparency has continued. They have since stalled the process in returning my deposit. The fraudulent and unscrupulous behavior exhibited by their employees must be stopped.

    I reached out through their website to confirm the price of a used ******* I contacted the sales team on a posted price for a used ****** Sentra. My Only requirement was to pay for the entire purchase on my AMEX credit card for which I would pay the fees and or charges. I asked him to confirm if I can charge the entire amount (again through email) and ***** responded through email and confirmed they would accept the cost of the vehicle on credit card. We then picked my son up from school and we drove 1 hour and 10 minutes to the dealership. We inspected the car and all the paperwork, was perfect. UNTIL we went into the ************** and was told we could not charge the full amount. I told them I had asked initially through email, and I was told YES they would accept a credit card for the FULL amount otherwise I would not make the purchase no matter the cost of the car. The Sales manager then started to argue that it was their policy and referenced a $15K vehicle repair the dealer is still waiting to be paid. I told him that was not the same. I WAS NOT ARGURING THE POLICY I was arguing and very upset the dealer AGREED IN WRITING and NOW THEY REFUSE to take the CC for the agreed amount. The sales manager sitting behind raised counter started to shout at me and was very belligerent which caused me to shout back. I tried to explain that I could NOT dispute AMEX, thus keeping the dealer from getting paid. In fact, I confirmed with **************** that is not correct when I called AMEX prior to let them know I was going to make a $22K charge. I tried to explain all this which did cause me to raise my voice. The other Sales manager who was extremely tall (Im only 55) got in my face and I felt very threated which caused me to again raise my voice. I was then asked to leave, or they would call the police. I reached out to the General Manager at Paulding Dodge for his feedback, and I have Not received a response.
