      At the beginning of July 2023, I took my 2014 Audi Q5 to be serviced at Donnie's Foreign Car Service. We received a call explaining that the issue with my vehicle was the oil separator, and that it needed to be replaced/serviced. We trusted them and agreed, with the understanding it would fix the symptoms of rough idling and stalling my car had been displaying. It was a big job, and my total bill was $3900 dollars, also adding a new water pump and servicing the radiator as well. A few days later, we received a call that my car was complete and ready to pick up. I was excited to get it back, hoping that everything would run like new. I get less than a mile down the road from the shop, and the check engine light comes back on. I returned my car the very next day, and the tech made some additional "adjustments." I pick up my car for the second time, and drive it for two or three days, and the problem with stalling and rough idling returns. We take it back a third time, and they quote me a new problem for $1100 dollars- the high pressure fuel pump was the diagnosis. (?!?!) At this point, we asked to speak to the owner, Donnie, who was out for the week. When he returned, my husband called and spoke to him, he apologized and seemed willing to resolve the problem. We brought the car back in for the fourth time, and they replaced the high pressure fuel pump. They STILL charged me, after all the going back and forth for a month, including missing some work during all this pick up/drop off. I spent a ton of money on labor and parts with them, for something that didn't even fix my car. I'm just not sure of the quality of "specialty knowledge" Donnie's Foreign Car advertises. The oil separator was a misdiagnosis, and I am requesting a portion of my funds for that be returned to me. I would not have agreed to do that job if I knew it wouldn't fix the initial problem like we were told.

      If there was an option to put no stars I would put none. I had my car towed to donnies for coolant system repair for my thermostat on my 2005 vw Touareg. I was quoted at 1,100 for repairs to my thermostat and labor, I was fine with the price of the service. Two days later donnies foreign auto called and said that the thermostat wasn't the issue (they were suppose to run a test on the coolant system but did not) and that they were going to repair what they "thought" was the problem and the repairs would be 848.38 to my surprise I asked if he was sure because I had my car tested at another facility and the issue was the thermostat and I specifically asked them to fix my thermostat at donnie's. On Friday September 24, 2021 donnie's foreign auto called me and stated that " my coolant problem was fixed and that I could pick up before 5" I was so elated about having my car repaired I asked the employee over the phone " wow are you sure it's fixed?" Because it had been so long of me trying to get it repaired, he replied "yes, ma'am your coolant system is fixed and your car is no longer running hot" so I called my grandma to take me and my children to pick up my car. We get there they bring the car out I paid 848.30 put my children inside the car and we proceeded to the gas station within the first 7 minutes of paying donnies foreign auto. We get gas and ride ten minutes up the street and my car is running hot again. I proceeded to pull over on the side of the road with a 3 and 1 year old baby. I called donnie's and informed them of the car running hot after they assured me it was fixed and clearly it was not. The man over the phone asked me to bring it back. It took me and my babies 2 hours to get back 10 minutes up the street. It was very hot and uncomfortable we had to stop and go so much because the car was running hot extremely fast. I finally get back to donnies with the car and I was greeted by the mechanic saying he apologize for the inconvenience and that they will get me answers. Monday morning I received a called from donnies stating that the issue with my car was the thermostat and that it would be another 1,100 to repair. When that is exactly what they were suppose to do when I initially had my car towed to them. So they took my 848.30 and at this point I'm not sure that they even did anything to my car because it was never repaired. The whole process was an inconvenience as well as unprofessional. I called tj's towing in Little Rock to tow my car away from donnies because it was not fixed and was not able to drive home. Initially I was informed that they would run a test on the coolant system before they started anything to know exactly what was the issue and they failed to do the test. It's unfortunate that they decided to test it after, I thought they were trustworthy but they are not.!
