I had my boat trailer brake controller replaced on 8/5/21 and I received a call that the trailer was ready to repaired and ready to pick up on 8/12/2021 and the cost was $960.92. I picked up the trailer and made it 7 miles to before the brakes on the drivers side began smoking heavily and locked up. I pulled into Winco Foods in ******, ** and they sent a repair truck to fix the brakes in the parking lot. After they "fixed it" I took the trailer home. The next day we went to take the boat to the lake and made it 20 miles before the brakes began smoking heavily on the drivers side again. I locked the brakes out so they would not work and took the boat home. I dropped the boat off again to have it repaired and was told that all of the wheels brakes needed to be replaced at the cost of $1,968.36 and again after that work was done I picked up the trailer on 8/20/2021 and pulled it home. On the way home I noticed that the brakes were still dragging as they were adjusted to tight. I didnt have time to deal with it again until 8/27/2021 when I call them and was told they were booked solid for 3 weeks and would not be able to adjust the brakes for 3 weeks. I will have to find another mechanic to adjust the brakes so that I can use the boat and trailer. To date my trailer is still unusable after spending $3,000.00 in "repairs" at Sound Truck and Trailer repair! Stay Away!
