    BBB unable to locate business
    Took my boat in for full service 5/10/21 . Confirmed with owner that full service includes oil change, filters, spark plugs, gear oil. Price quote was $325 for 2 motors. Picked boat up 5/19/21 and was charged $485.20. Upon further inspection of motors, spark plugs weren't replaced, fuel water separator wasn't changed. Invoice parts subtotal is $56.20 and labor subtotal is $429 for 3.5 hours of labor. Only an oil change was done (not a full service) which would not have required 3.25 hours of labor. I am requesting a refund and to only be charged for an oil change and the appropriate amount of labor hours that the oil change usually requires. The owner has been difficult to communicate with and has hung up on me 5/27/21 while I was attempting to request a refund.

    I took my boat that has a Yamaha outboard engine to cascade Marine and told him that it stalls out on a troll. Ken the front counter said go have fun we will fix it. I called him and he said that it was ready. I picked up the boat and me and my wife took the boat to the Columbia river to make sure they fixed my boat. Oh my god, my boat went 26 mph before cascade and 9 mph after. I video taped the way it ran called cascade and he said ran good here there is absolutely no way it could have ran good. He said maybe I can take to the water but never did. I really think it was over his head. I took my boat to a different shop and ran into another guy that was victim of cascade Marine. I do have his contact info. Ken is a liar, crook and that business needs to be shut down. Due to covid and time of year I still have no boat. Because of Ken's lack of skill and shoddy workmanship I have to sit out fishing this year.

    its a 28 year old motor. we fixed the link between the carbs. it ran good in the tank. Yamaha uses a strange idle timing on the engine which steps it down. no way to adjust it Its got a small lever which you can turn. but as motors wear out inside. You can have great spark good compression a perfect fuel system but when the seals between the cambers for each cylinder wear out . Nothing can be done and it needs to be replaced. It ran good here. idled in the tank. but might just finally need a new motor after 28 years or potentially a new electrical box on it. We explained it to ****. sorry he did not understand it. Cascade Marine has been around 50 years this year Thanks for coming in

    I have a video of my motor running like crap when I put it in the water. I am not going to do anything to my motor that idea is insane. The fact is I put my motor in the water and it ran like crap, so it could not have ran good. I have a video. I took the motor to another shop that's where I ran into another individual that picked up his boat and cascade Marine worked on it and he also had to go to another shop. I was told that you can't check the motor in a tank or with ears you have to put it in the water. Cascade Marine never did that. Cascade Marine should at least refund the money I spent on cascade not fixing the motor, they made it worse, I have a video to prove it, I have a contact to another person to back what I am saying. I get to miss the fishing season because there lack of skill.
