****** called from PSC and left a threatening message about an impending lawsuit from a Chase account from (get this guys) 2006. Yes, back when chase and Washington mutual merged for those of you that hadn't been birthed at the time. I told her to have fun with that and I'll be standing by with the countersuit in hand for harassment. I love listening to them act serious and pretend like they know what they are doing. Officer ****** is in for a rude awakening. Bring it, ******! I'll gladly take your money honey.Puget Sound Collections Response

This consumer is not a client of PSC. PSC provides debt collection services to a variety of clients. Our clients do not include Chase, Washington Mutual nor do we have a employee by the name of ******. It appears this consumer has a complaint about a different collection agency or someone pursuing her for accounts which ********************** does not service. We have no record of this consumer. Further, this review is in the incorrect area of the BBB website as this individual is not a client of PSC. If the consumer has questions or issues we are happy to discuss at ************, but have no records of any parties involved.Review from Teara F

The business fails to provide customer service in a satisfactory manner, and was quite rude. Not only was the person failing to understand the inquiry, when asked a question, they accused me of arguing (which I was not) then proceeded to hang up on me. When I called back, the operator hung up on me. Repeatedly.Puget Sound Collections Response

I spoke to someone today at PSC regarding an outstanding balance that I didn't even know I had. It was from my son's urgent care charges way back in November 2019. What happened was, I have a feature on my phone where it can scan all my incoming calls and alert me of potential spam callers and PSC was flagged as Spam so when I got the call today I didn't bother to answer it. A voice message was left for me to return the call so I did. The lady that I spoke to was not very professional but rather obnoxious. I had no awareness about the hospital charges for my son and she later confirmed that the address provided by the hospital was my old house which I had sold back in 2013. Why in the heck would I give the hospital my address from 2013 when the year at the time was 2019. My insurance card along with my current driver's license was provided to the intake team at the hospital for billing. Their was no compassion or understanding to the matter from this collection representative. It's like she's there to collect a paycheck and doesn't care about the people on the other line. I was referred to PSC because someone had failed to do their ******* job at the hospital and didn't put in the right address so now I'm being royally punished financially. I'm not looking forward to working with PCS At all given the conversation I had today. Rude and ruthless! I wasn't even given an offer or opportunity to see how they could help fix this mistake since I was referred to them in error.Puget Sound Collections Response

I am not a client of psc, rather someone that was sent to collections by a hospital in *******. My husband and I were checking our credit in early 2021, as we were looking to make a large purchase. We discovered this collection account for the amount of $****.00 We discovered that this **** was from when my husband became incarcerated overnight and was given treatment at the local hospital in 2020. We had no knowledge of this ****, because sent to the address of the jail and not our home address in *******. We received and paid both the hospital and ambulance bills, but conveniently not this **** from SECP. It was only after we checked our credit report, we discovered this. Upon discovering this on our credit, I immediately called the number that was listed for the collection agency. I was put through to a representative by the name of ***** at first. I was told who the **** was from and the amount. This was in August of 2021.After going back and forth with PSC on the responsibility of this account, it was determined that the jail was actually responsible for the ****. I contacted the jail, was put in touch with a naphcare employee. She directed me on who to call and helped me through the process. After a couple of months of dealing with this, we finally got an answer and told a payment was made. The account was put on insurance hold. I was under the impression that everything was good. April 11, 2022, I was called by ******** from PSC, that in fact the payment was not processedand that if the account was not paid in full, we would be put back into collections. After being extorted, I hesitantly paid $2344.50. My **** was $ ****, and apparently an interest charge was added. As of today, I received confirmation from the provider the was paid, and it was pending and would be posted by on 5/15/22 I would like a full refund of my money, with interest at 22%. I want an apology from psc and ******** and I would like her job evaluated and her terminated.Puget Sound Collections Response

Hello. So let me start off by saying I am not the type of person to ever review a place, and that this review is not about the me owing money but about my previous employment with the company. My start date was 1/26/22, I was tricked into putting in a resignation on 3/2/22. The job title I was hired for was Office Administrator. I am black woman of color, and before moving up to WA, I lived in my home state of Tennessee for 22 years and the state of Indiana for 3 years and was never treated like this by a company. My first few days of employment was pretty standard, watch a few training videos, get introduced to everyone, and go over rules and regulations. After that I was introduced to auditing. Which is the most basic job you can ever do. It's just looking at papers all day and making sure they scanned correctly into the computer. I was assured by my supervisor that this was part of my training plan.Move on a few days later, I have seen the new girl (who happened to be white) get trained on auditing, data entry, batching, and mail return. During the time we are taking calls, mind you, this is after my supervisor said they could not train me because we were taking calls. My husband just encouraged me to take initiative and ask if they would train me onto something new instead of waiting. This is the first job I have ever had where I had to ask to be trained.Next day, I ask my question, and I'm hit with: "Well, right now, we're not moving on from auditing for a bit. I'm not sure when we will, but I'll let you know what's next when we get there." They train me on data entry. I take my time with it to prevent mistakes. They tell me I'm going too slow. I picked up the pace, I make too many mistakes and I will no longer be working on data entry. I had only been working on it for two days. I was never given the tools to succeed here. Expectations were never set, I was only shown how to do the job once and then would be reviewed just based off that one time.Puget Sound Collections Response

Terrible experience with them! I had to visit the ** and I am a veteran. I have been trying to get all of my bills from this emergency straightened out. I have been diligent with it too, even though it has been taking quite some time to get folks the right address to **** to. Evergreen sent me to this collections company. I got maybe one notice in which I provided billing information on. They billed the wrong insurance and so sent me to collections. This company never called and only sent a letter. I responded to that letter with the information I had. They called back to explain to me that it was back with Evergreen now. I tried to get information and repeat back what they were telling me so I could understand. The woman ******** kept cutting me off and wouldn't let me ask questions without talking over me. She was very hostile and I don't appreciate that considering I am trying to take care of these items responsibly.Puget Sound Collections Response

Gave me conflicting answers on doing a settlement on debt. Does not follow fdcpa laws. If you point out any miss/conflicting i formation agents and managers will get snappy at you and end calls without warning rather then help resolve the issue.Puget Sound Collections Response
