      I purchased an ******* heated bird bath with metal stand as a Christmas gift from Best Nest Inc.The price I paid was $125.99 +$7.56(tax). Best Nest offered free shipping for my order! The bird bath arrived defective. The bath could not be assembled properly. I notified Best Nest customer service and they emailed me a how to video. Nothing worked! I decided to return the bird bath to Best Nest and notified customer service of my plan to do so, asking for a full refund. I was told that I would have to pay the return shipping charges plus Best Net was going to deduct the “free” shipping charges from my refund. I contacted customer service again telling them that this would not be a fair resolution to my problem. The customer service representative said”sorry but that’s their policy “and hung up on me. Best Nest deducted $16.75(free shipping) from my refund. In addition I had to pay *** $19.36 to return the defective bird bath. I feel that the proper course of action would have been for Best Nest to issue a full refund and pay my cost to return the bird bath. Instead they deducted my “free” shipping cost and I had to pay for the return.I think this is terrible business! Best Nest still owes me $36.11. Their customer service is the worst I ever encountered! ****

      Unfortunately some customers can have difficulties with assembly of the ******** Troubleshooting and replacement parts were offered without the need for a return. After the customer was warned twice that screaming profanity at the agent was not going to be acceptable, nor change the resolution, the customer was advised the call would be terminated. When the behavior continued, the call was disconnected. Upon receipt of the returned item, our returns department found that the item was able to be assembled using the troubleshooting tactics that we had sent. Our return policy is clearly displayed on the website.

      I purchased the ********l Illuminator Solar Lamp and Private Drive Sign from Best Nest. The item come as two distinct pieces: the solar lamp and the private drive sign. Instructions were included for the two pieces but not for attaching the two pieces together: the light to the sign. This is becasue it is impossible to do so. I spoke with customer service several times and even they tried to assemble the products to no avail. She then sent me an email noting her frustration in trying to connect the two pieces together. I asked to return the two items as defective since it is n ot possible to attach the light to the sign with the stake that is included. I was told I'd have to pay to send the item back and that the original "free shipping" would also be deducted from my refund. This is just ridiculous that Best Nest does not stand behind their products. What a waste of money for a product that doesn't work and belongs in the garbage.

      Best Nest advertise Pay in 4 by ****** which indicates this is an accepted form of payment during the checkout process. I wish BBB could offer negative stars so I could submit five negative ones. Unfortunately, I came across all the bad reviews too late after I thought I could split a $329 charge into four payments as that was the process I accepted when making my purchase. They are basically lying to their customers about this form of payment which is still showing on their website. They do not offer this and will charge you the full amount even though you will go through the Pay by 4 option showing you that you have been accepted and what will be your initial payment. You will see that ****** did not process the Pay by 4 option and the full amount will be charged to your bank account. When you contact ****** you are told that is the business's responsibility to set up an agreement with ****** to accept this form of payment then BestNest plays dumb saying oh ****** was supposed to do that for you and that you need to call them. What a bunch of crooks and dishonest people; only an idiot could believe that lie. I tried to stop my order, but after they took the amount in full from my bank, there was no turnaround and they won't be canceling anything for you, typical shark business!. Beware and DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT

      Ordered a personalized mailbox from them on June 31 2023 received my order with wrong spelling of my street name. They said they would redo the item. They stated NO refund when it was not my fault. Still have not received the corrected replacement. Its now 2 month later. Asked to be compensated in some way for my long wait of my item being delivered, BUT they said we cannot do that. I feel this is really Poor customer service on their part. Please just stay away from ordering any products from this Company.

      Beware of ordering from Best Nest. If you want to return an item, you have to pay return shipping. Additionally, if your order qualified for free shipping, once they receive the item, they will ALSO deduct shipping. So, you’re paying for shipping twice!!! If there are multiple items in your return, they have even more creative ways to scr…w you!!! There are so many more credible, customer-friendly companies out there. Keep looking.

      Terrible customer service. I was seeking a part that wasn't in the box as it was supposed to be. I was told to contact the manufacturer because it was past 30 days. The manufacturer said they would honor a claim from BestNest. I called BestNest back to ask them to file a claim with the manufacturer and Beth H**** said she didn't care if my family member had ALS, that I should've checked the contents sooner, that it was my fault and they weren't going to file any claims so I can get one leg that was missing!

      The bird pole hook stated 14” long on website. Hook was actually 12”. To get a fecund I would have to pay for shipping. I paid to ship it. Two Tim’s price of product. Not happy with the product or customer service. I will never shop here again.

      On 6/16/22, I ordered the ******* *****n Farmhouse fencing for $469.13. It turned out the fence was not as tall as I thought, so I arranged through customer service to return the items for a refund. While the return was in progress, on 6/21/22, I ordered the Panacea Triple Arch Border for $469.13 and that was received and is exactly what I needed.However, on 7/7/22, BestNest informed me that I was not entitled to my refund, as the items were received "damaged" in the shipping "container". I had returned the items in the exact same two cardboard boxes they were received in. The boxes shipped to me, were flimsy cardboard, held together by tape and contained zero packing materials for safe shipping. That was exactly how I returned them to BestNest. In fact one of the two boxes was never even opened by me. BestNest sent me photos of the "damage" and the "containers", both which proved nothing to me. We tried our best to reason with them, but BestNest insisted that I damaged the product and was not entitled a refund. Even though I clearly showed good faith by placing and paying for my 2nd order prior to receiving my refund, BestNest stands by their decision. Thankfully, companies like **** protect the consumer from companies like BestNest and we will resort to disputing the $469.13 charge.I very rarely write reviews like this, as it is hard enough these days for businesses to succeed, however in this case, the consumer (their customer), has not been treated fairly.***************************

      Buyer Beware I purchased a White 4 x4 Post Mounting Bracket for a Birdhouse. The description says that it will fit a 4 x4 post. The description does not say that it fits a 4 x4 post that is sold at hardware stores. The post I have is 4 x4, the mounting bracket they sold me is only 3.5 x 3.5. When I called to get some resolution I was told that it fits 4 x4 posts sold at most hardware stores. She then went on to say it would be silly to return it because the return shipping cost would be about the same as my refund. In my opinion, if the company wanted to be honest and transparent they would simply add the phrase "fits most 4 x 4 posts sold at hardware stores", rather than being deceptive. I seems $16.99 is more important to this company than building customer loyalty. I was told to have a nice day and hung up on because she did not want to listen to me any longer. I did not use any vulgarity or raise my voice. When she asked if there was anything else she could help me with I told her, "no and that it cost me $35 to find out they don't care about keeping my business." I do not recommend buying from this company. I try hard to buy from small businesses but will never buy from Best Nest.Com again.

      We recently purchased a bird feeder as a gift from BestNest. We were told by someone we trust that they manufactured high end products so we trusted that when we chose to purchase an item for $350 we would be receiving high quality. When the feeder arrived the box had been extremely damaged, multiple holes in the box. When we opened it we found the feeder had been damaged, a piece of wood broken off and several places cracked. We weren't upset as these things happen but when we contacted BestNest to begin the process of shipping it back to them for a new one we were told the process would take too long for us to receive the new one when we needed it. We had purchased the item as a gift and had a small window to present it. We purchased a different feeder (same quality, $200 cheaper) and returned the broken item to BestNest. We requested a shipping label and were told since we were refusing to replace it we would have to incur the shipping fees and it was "against their policy to provide a shipping label." Again, note we did not "refuse" a new item, we wanted a new item they refused to resolve it in a timely manner (we had 7 days to receive the item, they would not comply). We paid $58 to *** to return the item and then found out BestNest deducted $45 from our refund for the original shipping cost. I am beyond shocked. In today's online shopping system, respectable companies own the responsibility of packaging their items properly and they do not pass poor packaging mistakes along to customers. BestNest claims to be a ********* based company but they refuse to do what is best for their customers. They are more committed to money than to doing what is right. A $350 bird feeder and then I had to pay them $115 to return it to them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
