Pattern of Complaints
On June 3, 2015, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding advertising issues. Consumers allege a delivery notice is posted on their front door stating a package is being held for them. Consumers allege once they call the number on the notice or read the fine print, they learn the notice is not from a delivery service but is from Sound Air Solutions Inc, which is seeking to make a sales presentation in exchange for a prize. Consumers claim they find the notice deceptive.
Sound Air Solutions Inc has responded to BBB complaints by stating the notice says it is from the Marketing Department at the top, reads “for advertising purposes only” at the bottom and is marked as a promotion.
Sound Air Solutions Inc is working with BBB in an effort to eliminate the underlying cause of the pattern of complaints.
