Specifically, the company’s use of the claims “Lowest Prices In Norfolk” and "Guaranteed Top Quality Service" does not meet Better Business Bureau Code of Advertising guidelines.
According to the guidelines: “Advertisers should only use "Guaranteed Top Quality Service" and "(We have) the Lowest Prices in Norfolk" or similar representations are used in advertising, any material limitations or conditions that apply to the guarantee and data supporting their "lowest price" claims must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed and substantiated.”
The BBB requested written clarification from the company on how they resolve issues with a dissatisfied customer. As of June 30, 2024, Barry Lee's Automotive did not respond to this BBB regarding this advertisement review.
