Pattern of Complaints
On December 4, 2023, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints and negative customer reviews from consumers regarding product and customer service issues. Consumers allege the horns are not as loud as advertised, are plastic instead of metal and are difficult to install or cannot be installed on some motorcycle brands. Consumers also allege customer service can only be contacted through email. In addition, although the company advertises a location in Portland, Oregon and a photo of an American flag on the website, the company may be located in Estonia.

On December 4, 2023, Better Business Bureau opened an investigation into MotoHorn and found it does not have a business registration with Oregon Secretary of State to conduct business in Oregon. According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, BBB found a trademark registration for MotoHorn which is registered by eCommerce Marketing OU in Jogeva, Estonia. The advertised address on https://motohorn.com/, Hayden Island in Portland Oregon, appears to belong to a freight forwarding company. BBB cannot locate a physical location for MotoHorn the State of Oregon. BBB has reached out to MotoHorn for more information. To date, BBB has not received a response.
