I use payactiv which is provided by my job The Fresh Market. We recently received our biweekly deposit on the 3rd of July, 2025. It also came with something extra money which was strange. I talk to my store manager and he told me "oh, the fresh market does that sometimes". So I drop it and thought everything was fine. Im finally broke and need to access like 8 bucks so I can have the balance to get a **** from work. This was July 10th and I'm positive I have money waiting... It had $0.00 which is odd because I should have a minimum 450 bucks in my payactiv balance. I searched through the app and stumbled across what I "owed" which is $419. Apparently payactiv and the fresh market has a thing were they pay you for a half week on your check before the holiday. But even with that I should still have at least $100 in my account. This pay period I've worked 7/1= $115.37 7/3 = $123.16 7/4= $93.54 7/5= 107.80 7/6= 110.38 7/9= $109.60 7/10= 94.63 7/11= 108.04 I owe pay active $419 from my next check which is 7/18/25, I get that but where is the rest of my money. I haven't eaten in two days, been surviving off water and bread because payactiv is a horrible service and won't resolve my issue. I chatted with like 4 different agents and they all had different stories. This company needs to be checked out seriously. Way too many complaints from ****** to ****** reviews. This has created hardship.

Outstanding amount (Jun 28 - Jul 11) ****** Outstanding amount (Jun 14 - Jun 27) ****** These two seperate amounts were to be takin out of one check because the business failed to inform the users of a technical problem. Up until the problem got worse as time went on. Ive spoken with a man last name by the name of ******. He was very defensive as I asked to get a better understanding and a correction if possible. I feel I have been scammed out of my hard earned money. Especially in this economy.

Ive been dealing with a serious issue with my Payactiv account for over two weeks. Initially, my account was deactivated due to a rare system bug that, according to their ********************** only affected my account. After countless generic responses and no resolution, I was finally contacted directly by an analyst after filing a BBB pre-complaint, who confirmed the problem and told me my case would be prioritized and resolved by July 2nd My account was finally reactivated but my earned wages were still not available. I followed up again, only to discover that my account had been re-deactivated yet again, with no clear explanation and still no access to the funds I worked for. This is now two full weeks without access to the key feature Payactiv advertises: early access to earned wages. Ive been given conflicting information, vague timelines, and multiple promises that things would be fixed yet the problem persists. This has caused me significant financial hardship, disrupted my personal plans, and created completely avoidable ********* this point, its clear that Payactiv lacks a proper contingency process for critical account issues like this especially when the only response is to wait indefinitely while the issue is bounced between technical and engineering teams.

I recently had unauthorized charges made on my Payactiv card and contacted Payactiv to be reimbursed for stolen funds. An investigation was started but the company promptly closed my investigation without a single phone call stating no error occurred. I am looking for help in proving the funds were illegitamately withdrawn and getting the funds repaid.

Had paid my previously owed balance of $369.92 to Payactiv, as per my Paystub on ADP.This pay period, I had ******ed $117 and owe $6.98 in fees. They have listed on their transactions I owe $493.90, which equals to the amount already deducted and the amount from my pay period. Contacted payactiv, they responded, Please be informed that due to a technical issue in the backend, some deductions that were originally scheduled to be cleared on 06/27 have been delayed and are now reflected for clearance on 07/11. As a result, your EWA ****** has been temporarily disabled.Once the deductions are cleared on 07/11, your EWA ****** will be re-enabled. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue and appreciate your understanding.I had asked, Will this still deduct $497?The response recieved, Please be informed that the deductions are due to be cleared on 07/11. Which did not help clear whether the deduction would still be made or not.I have already paid my balance off from my previous pay period and wish for either 1.Reimbursement 2. For Payactiv to cancel the owed deduction of $369.92 If neither of these occur, I will be contacting a lawyer for further assistance.

I haven't been able to access my money for a week now. I've called, emailed, and talked through chat with these people, and I either get told to wait ***** hours, or they give me the complete run around. My hours that I worked (40) are on my Payactiv dashboard, but my balance has been 0 for a week.

on 9/25/21 i used payactiv to access $250 + their $1 fee. this amount was deducted from my paycheck dated 10/1/21. they are asking me to make a voluntary payment using ****** stating this money is "unrecoverable". I've emailed Payactiv, informed them of their mistake, sent them a copy of my pay stub showing the deduction and have yet to hear back from them. I do like this service but I would like them to stop trying to collect funds from me that have already been payed.

My work recently introduced this and from the get go, *** had issues registering for PayActiv even with all the right information. Calls never go through and emails are being passed around and Im having to repeat my issue again. Account finally worked for one day and since then Im unable to see my balance and it no update in 5 days. Reached out to customer service through chat, phone, email and no proper answer - I was told my account was deactivated (tech issue), its been happening to a lot of accounts and theyre investigating it. Asked for time frame no timeframe, were actively working on it. What is the point of this service if it doesnt even work?! Seems like theres always some issue going on with the service based on the reviews below.
