In November 2024, BBB investigated Buy Gold and Silver Safely's business practices. This investigation was prompted by the nature of consumer complaints and customer reviews received by BBB. Consumers allege in their reports to BBB that the business failed to deliver orders consumers paid for, failed to provide updates on orders and delivery time frames, and failed to respond to consumer phone and email inquiries.
On November 18, 2024 BBB sent the company a Business Practice Inquiry through email to request the following information:
- Details on the resolution that will be offered to consumers who have paid but have not received the purchase order or a refund
- Information on the communication channels available to customers to inquire about the status of their order and refunds
- How the business handles situations where orders cannot be fulfilled as initially expected
- A copy of the business’s seller’s permit with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration or proof of exemption
As of February 18, 2025, the business has not responded to BBB's request.
