On April 10, 2023, BBB challenged this company’s advertising that appears on their website at https://digitmediadesigns.com/39-offer/. The website states 100% Money Back Guarantee and 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.
According to the BBB Code of Advertising the primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertisings rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any claims or offers made before publication or broadcast and, upon requests, present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.
Also, advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” “money back guarantee, “free trial offer,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer’s request.”
Digit Media Designs was notified and asked to provide their money back guarantee and satisfaction guarantee policy or if unable to provide their policy BBB request, they modify or remove the statement from the website. Despite several attempts, the company has not responded to BBB’s request.
