    On August 15, 2017, BBB requested Vibrant Web, LLC to modify advertising claims as BBB received information the business  may offer Amazon affiliate marketing services for an upfront fee (a free service); and make false promises concerning consumer return of investment (ROI).

Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.

    • Advertisements which are untrue, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, falsely disparaging of competitors, or insincere offers to sell, shall not be used.

    • An advertisement as a whole may be misleading by implication, although every sentence separately considered may be literally true.

    • Misrepresentation may result not only from direct statements, but by omitting or obscuring a material fact.

However, BBB has also received information the business may make false promises indicating consumers will receive substantial monetary gain. In addition, BBB has received information the business may fail to respond to inquiries regarding business services and refunds. BBB contacted Vibrant Web, LLC regarding business practice concerns. The business did not respond.

    •Hold final payment until services are provided.

    •Speak to the business by phone and research specific services you need.

    •Research your web designer’s portfolio to ensure developed websites are still active. If the website is no longer active, use caution/your best judgement.
