In April 2020, BBB investigated StabilityPro's business practices. This investigation was prompted by a large volume of complaints, consumer inquiries, scam tracker inquiries and advertising issues. These reports shared concerns over the legitimacy of the business, excessive pricing, and failure to deliver products or issue a refund.
On April 2, 2020, BBB reached out to StabilityPro via email to request information regarding their affiliation with the Back Your Hero and Giggles Baby Boutique businesses, as they share the same address.
As of April 27, 2020, the business has not responded to our request.
Additionally, BBB requested StabilityPro to modify, substantiate, or discontinue claims on their website, https://www.stabilitypro.com/, that displays excessive pricing, comparison pricing & claimed results.
BBB's Code of Advertising Section 1 of the Code requires that advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB. Advertisements which are untrue, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, falsely disparaging of competitors, or insincere offers to sell, shall not be used.
BBB's Code of Advertising Section 3 of the Code requires that, when comparisons are made to a former selling price, it must be to a bona fide price that has been offered for a reasonable time. If no sales had been made at that price, the advertiser must be sure that the markup on the higher priced product is similar to other products.
BBB’s Code of Advertising Section 34 of the Code requires that claims relating to performance and results should be backed up by reliable evidence.
