Accreditation application and resources | BBB of Miami Valley
A charity evaluation for BBB accreditation is free. It assists in positioning a nonprofit organization as ethical and accountable while providing donors confidence their charitable contributions are being used wisely. Once BBB accreditation is achieved, your organization is eligible to participate in BBB's Charity Seal program.
You can begin the BBB charity accreditation process by downloading and completing the Nonprofit Profile Questionnaire. Resources to assist in addressing common questions are provided below for you, including a worksheet to assist you in determining how BBB evaluates your organization's information according to its 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

Upon receipt of your organization's completed Nonprofit Profile questionnaire, your BBB will review the information and contact you if any additional information is needed. Once your BBB completes the evaluation, a BBB charity review is created and made available at www.bbb.org. Your organization is also notified, in writing, of the outcome of the evaluation and provided a copy of BBB's charity review.
