Each year, BBB honours companies that have walked the extra mile to maintain a healthy, honest marketplace, and get them the recognition and publicity they deserve.

Through the development of partnerships with sponsors, local industry companies, and media, the Torch Awards are designed to:

1. Acknowledge excellence in the MB & NW ONT. business community
2. Build awareness amongst consumers and businesses the importance of ethical business practices
3. Create exposure for and awareness of services and programs provided by the BBB, event sponsors and partners.

1. Nominate a business

Visit our page to fill out a nomination form to nominate a business.

2. Business application

Businesses that have been nominated and meet the eligibility criteria will be contacted by the BBB to received an application package. Businesses are required to submit their completed application package to the BBB. 

3. Finalists announced

You will have 3 weeks to fill out the detailed application, and submit a short video explaining why your business deserves to be recognized. An independent panel of judges will review the submissions, and choose the 4 finalists.

4. Attend Awards Event

Businesses are asked to RSVP to the BBB to attend the Awards Event to celebrate and network with other outstanding businesses from MB and NW Ontario.
