This company first came to our attention in December 2009. They have sent documentation to consumers advising them they have won $10,000.00. We have received complaints from consumers who have paid a $29.95 processing fee and have not received the "Cash Winnings" as promised. It was also noted that all the complainants reside in the USA.
The number one rule to remember is that PRIZES ARE FREE. You never, for any reason, have to pay money for a prize. If you have legitimately won a prize you will win it outright, no strings attached. We contacted the company on September 19, 2011 and requested that they substantiate that someone has actually won the cash prize they promise. On September 21, 2011, they provided the name and address of the alleged $10,000.00 grand prize winner. We have been in contact with the "winner" and they have advised our office that this is not the case. They have not received any funds from this business and do not know how Imperial Distribution Company obtained their contact information.
