The Better Business Bureau Great West + Pacific (BBB) is warning consumers about Centennial Medical Supplies, a company claiming to operate in Denver, Colorado.

Nationwide, consumers allege the company is billing Medicare, secondary insurance providers, and individuals for medical supplies the consumers never ordered, in most cases totaling $2,250.

Consumers report receiving Medicare statements showing fraudulent charges from physicians who are not their doctors, often for catheter-related products. In many cases, Medicare unknowingly pays the claims, and secondary insurance providers cover the remaining balances. Consumers are then billed for any unpaid portions. This scheme takes needed funds from consumers' Medicare and insurance benefits and from their bank accounts – all for products they never requested or received.

As of October 27, 2025, BBB has received:

  • 7 formal complaints
  • 37 negative reviews
  • 10 scam reports

More reasons for concern

According to both the former business owner and the Colorado Secretary of State, Centennial Medical Supplies was sold in May/ June 2025 and registered to Kakha Bendeliani. The company’s website was recently created on June 2, 2025, raising additional concerns about the business’s legitimacy.

At this time, BBB is unable to verify the company’s true ownership or location. BBB investigators have called the business, left a message, and sent both email and written correspondence requesting a response. No reply has been received.

Tips to protect yourself

BBB urges consumers to take the following precautions:

  1. Check your Medicare statements regularly. If you notice unfamiliar charges or suppliers, report them immediately.
  2. Do not provide your Medicare or insurance information to unknown or unsolicited callers.
  3. Contact Medicare directly at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) to report suspicious billing.
  4. File a complaint or scam report with BBB at www.bbb.org if you suspect fraud.
