
BBB Central Illinois Launches Community Outreach Series to Protect Seniors from Scams

The Better Business Bureau Serving Central Illinois is hosting a series of free community events aimed at educating and empowering older adults against common scams. Led by BBB President Jessica Tharp, each event features an engaging and interactive presentation that highlights the latest fraud tactics targeting seniors, including fake celebrity giveaways, scam emails, Medicare fraud, and grandparent scams. These sessions are designed to raise awareness, provide practical tips, and foster safer communities through informed decision-making.
