The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama established our annual awards program more than 25 years ago to gain public recognition for local companies that maintain a solid commitment to conduct their business practices with the highest standards in leadership and character ethics. The Torch Award is designed to promote not only the importance of ethical business practices, but the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses and organizations to ensure that our marketplace remains fair and honorable for all. We also host a scholarship competition honoring outstanding juniors and seniors attending high schools in North Alabama.
Our 2025 Torch Award Luncheon is presented by Nucor Steel Decatur, LLC.
