Later, Chris watched his father come home battered and bruised from construction sites. Those experiences left an imprint. “Seeing my father come home exhausted and injured from his work cemented my resolve to make a difference,” Chris recalls. “I knew then that I wanted to stand up for people like him.”
The vision was in place and the course set. Chris became the first in his family to attend college. His parents, who firmly believed in the power of education and advocacy, encouraged his pursuit of law. By his teenage years, he was already carrying around a hefty legal textbook, planting the seeds of what would become a lifelong career in protecting others. “I’ve lived it, I’ve seen it, and now I use those experiences to empower people who might otherwise be overlooked by the legal system,” he says.
