The Better Business Bureau® of Arkansas is proud to announce the winners of its 2025 Student Video Contest, a statewide competition encouraging high school students to explore marketplace ethics and consumer protection through video storytelling. This year’s contest awarded a total of $7,650 in prizes to schools and students across the state.

The grand prize was awarded to Haas Hall Academy in Fayetteville for their video "Exploring the Ecosystem of Commerce," created by the team Halal Guys, earning 1st place. The team will receive a $2,500 prize for their school and $250 gift cards for each team member.

The BBB Student Video Contest is hosted annually by the BBB of Arkansas and its Education Foundation, providing students a platform to engage with real-world issues like scam awareness, ethical business practices, and consumer protection in a creative and impactful way. “We are so proud of the creativity, insight, and teamwork these students displayed,” said Bonita Minchew, President and CEO of the BBB of Arkansas. “This contest helps students think critically about ethical commerce and the importance of trust in the marketplace.”

This year’s contest would not have been possible without the generous support from our sponsor, ASC Warranty, along with many other sponsors who support the ongoing mission of the BBB Education Foundation of Arkansas. We are also thankful to the participating educators and students for their time and effort.

The BBB Education Foundation works to provide resources and outreach that empower Arkansans of all ages to become smart consumers and ethical business leaders.

The full awards ceremony is available for viewing on BBB Arkansas’s FacebookYouTube, and Instagram.
