BBB Southeast Texas and BBB Education Foundation proudly announce The Spark Leadership Summit. This inaugural event will be held April 25, 2024, at the MCM Elegante Hotel & Conference Center in Beaumont, Texas.
The Spark Leadership Summit aims to unite industry, business, education, and nonprofits to create a dynamic, transformational experience for ready leaders of today and the next generation of leaders for tomorrow. The full-day event will include dynamic speakers, engaging networking opportunities, and compelling breakout sessions.
As the premier leader in Marketplace Trust, BBB, and the Education Foundation realize the importance of investing in the future of leadership. The Spark Summit aims to create an energetic and immersive platform for organizations and individuals throughout Greater Southeast Texas. Attendees will build and refine their leadership skills, leaving ready and willing to lead with integrity and trust.
“I find tremendous value in any opportunity to learn and glean from the experiences of others. When I was younger, I would always jump for the chance to attend leadership conferences and had always hoped an event of this caliber would become available in our area,” says BBB President and CEO, Darren Erwin.
Erwin continued by saying that BBB is proud to be able to offer an opportunity for others so that they will not have to travel out of the region to experience a first-class leadership summit.
“Our hope is to create a cost-effective, top-tier platform for local and aspiring leaders, to be exposed to resources right here in Southeast Texas,” said Erwin. “We are calling on our local businesses and community partners, to help us create and support this dynamic opportunity.”
