BBB® of Upstate South Carolina recently announced Hunter Jones as the new President/CEO. He joins the team from the BBB serving the Fall Line Corridor, which covers counties in South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia. In the leadership role, Jones plans to further establish the BBB of the Upstate as a vital resource for local businesses and consumers, alike.
The BBB of the Upstate continues to encourage the communities they serve to participate in ethical and trustworthy business. By offering BBB Accreditation to applicable businesses, consumer and business tips, consumer scam alerts, red flags and more, the BBB of the Upstate strives toward a marketplace of trust.
“I look forward to keeping the Upstate a safe marketplace for our consumers and businesses to shop,” Jones said in regard to his new role. “Being that scams and shady business practices are more common than ever, I am determined to keep your BBB as a primary resource for our consumers to do their shopping homework.”
In his new role as President/CEO, Jones looks forward to keeping the community more informed. Each week moving forward, he will provide a Friday Foresight, a relevant tip or alert that may help businesses make informed decisions about their internal process and assist consumers with their purchasing decisions.
