Beautifying homes one stone at a time
Divine Stoneworks of Ashland, Massachusetts, is a family-owned and professionally-operated stone countertop company founded in 2016 by John Dudley, who now holds the title of Chief Visionary Officer, supporting General Manager Troy Herrod, from a leadership perspective.
Over the years, Divine Stoneworks has grown to offer more than just countertops in more than just kitchens. They have carved out a bit of a niche in the backsplash, shower, surrounds, and outdoor living spaces and pride themselves on offering a complete solution from design to manufacturing to installation.
“The style of products we offer is unique and always evolving,” Dudley explained. “Only the most extraordinary stone can create a truly singular space, so it’s imperative to make the customer's needs a priority. ”
The products on offer range from natural, composite/engineered, and exotic stones. The Divine Stoneworks team sources stones from all over the world and takes care in selecting every slab.
“One of the biggest challenges customers face is the number of choices out there in the world of stone,” Dudley explained. “It’s a big, visible, and permanent investment. Our goal is to make the whole process easy for our clients. We want to create a stunning, functional space for them.”
“If we don’t want it in our homes,” Dudley said, “we don’t use it on yours.”
Divine Stoneworks offers in-person consultations, several online tools, and a 2,500-square-foot showroom in the heart of the MetroWest Design Center.
As with any business, there are always obstacles to overcome. External, uncontrollable forces include the weather, a global pandemic, government regulations, the economy, and internal forces like workforce, health, and hiring. Dudley said he has used his 25 plus years of business experience to help guide Divine Stoneworks and feels they have created “a team with great influence, speed, and award-winning results.” He also explained how the core values instilled at Divine Stoneworks include being positive, energetic and fun, creatively finding solutions, giving 100% effort and excellence, exuding high levels of respect, and continuing to always be learning and improving.
“We are committed to a high quality of workmanship and customer follow-up,” Dudley said. “All of which makes it possible for us to efficiently deliver quality work at competitive prices with a dedicated, happy team.”
This commitment has earned them multiple awards and certifications from renowned institutions in the industry.
Divine Stoneworks is also passionate about giving back to their Ashland community through philanthropy, volunteerism, and furthering the health and well-being of their employees. Over the past year, they have supported 17 local and global organizations, delivered 8,000 meals to the Metrowest community, and given nearly 12,000 volunteer hours.
