Empowering business owners to increase success

Would you hire yourself as the CEO of your own business?  That is the big question Amy Pocsik, Founder of Bold Moves, will ask when you work together, and then she will teach you how to do just that – take ownership and become the chief of your business and life.

The mission of Bold Moves is to empower women to increase their success exponentially.  Amy partners with founders to make an impact and help them own the role of CEO – professionally and personally.

After graduating from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, Amy had a successful career – running a $40M budget, negotiating million-dollar contracts, and managing hundreds of people. Seems ideal, but deep down, she knew this wasn’t enough and had a nagging feeling that somehow there was more.

A mother of two active boys, wife, woman, and natural giver, Amy pushed forward with her desire to create a life she wanted to live and to build a business that supported her dream.  In 2021, Bold Moves was founded on her success as Co-Founder and CEO of the Women’s Business League in 2019.

“I know what it was like to be on the opposite side, unfulfilled and longing for more,” Amy explained. “That’s why I made it my life’s work to make sure every person is empowered to achieve a big, bold vision for their life and business.”

Working with Amy is more than just having a sideline coach or cheerleader; you get those too. Amy is your wing-woman flying right by your side.  She has decades of corporate accounting experience, working with multimillion-dollar organizations, so she understands the numbers. She can quickly size the bottom line to identify where to cut costs and optimize.  But it doesn’t stop there.  Bold Moves looks at the whole picture - professional and personal.  Amy feeds the same philosophy she’s used throughout her career directly into her coaching. The underlying theme is building a business at the sacrifice of everything else in your life is not worth it.

“I want to help you grow your business while at the same time staying highly engaged with your family and friends, and allowing you to pursue health goals, hobbies, travel, and whatever fills your cup.”

So how does it work?  Once you’ve signed up to make Bold Moves, Amy will scope your business and work on a 90-day plan.  From there, you’ll transition to work on what’s possible until you and your company are running self-sufficiently with the right systems and the right team with the ultimate goal of being aligned with your intent and purpose. Amy will show you what to keep in your life and how to create space for what will propel you forward.  Delivering all of this knowledge with high energy and compassion.

Amy coaches her clients on mindset, energy, radical self-awareness, empowerment, and accountability, coupled with the tactical methods and strategies to run a business. And, it’s not just about your business, but about how that is incorporated into life. This combined, holistic approach sets Bold Moves apart in the ever-growing sea of business coaches.

“You’ve created your business to make an impact. Now it’s time to design it to support your life.”

Amy started with one client, and she's fully booked after a year and a half. Starting her career in public accounting, Amy was trained to go in and size up companies, looking at leadership, optimizing systems, and opportunities, cutting dead weight, and leaning into strengths that can make a business efficient and profitable.  Amy walks her walk and talks her talk surrounding herself and her company with a team of support, personally and professionally.  “I think of it like a tree.  The tree will never apologize for taking all the resources from the soil.  It just uses what is there to grow as tall as it can.  It takes a lot, and you have to be okay with asking for help and using it.  It’s been amazing to take all of the tools and methods that I know work and then apply them to my clients.”  Entrepreneurship is the number one course in personal development, always pushing you to be at your edge.  By sticking with her Bold Moves strategies, Amy firmly believes “your business will never outgrow you.”

Bold Moves works with all-size businesses, but finds working with small to mid-sized entrepreneurs, especially female-owned companies, the sweet spot.  “It’s like a dopamine hit when I see women feeling empowered and succeeding. I really feel like this is the population I can help the most and make the biggest impact.”

So what’s next for Bold Moves and Amy Pocsik?  With the goal of “moving the needle,”  Amy wants to take her message to the masses with online course offerings and a book.
