Electronic Recycling Event - Winnipeg, Manitoba

BBB of Central Canada and Era bring Electronic Recycling Event to Winnipeg, September 18, 2025 (Marian Henry)
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), in collaboration with the Better Business Bureau of Central Canada, is hosting a free electronic recycling and data destruction event in Regina, Saskatchewan, on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
This initiative offers local businesses and residents a secure, convenient, and environmentally responsible way to dispose of unwanted electronics. All collected devices will undergo certified data wiping before being either refurbished for charitable use or responsibly recycled in accordance with ERA’s ISO-certified standards.
As an added service to the business community, ERA’s Mobile Shredding Unit will be on-site, providing free, on-the-spot physical destruction of hard drives, USBs, and discs—ensuring complete data security for retired storage devices.
A drive-through drop-off option will make the process quick and easy. Refurbished equipment from the event will be donated to Winnipeg-based charities, including Seven Oaks General Hospital, Humanitarian Solidarity for Development and Empowerment (HSDE) and N'Dinawemak Inc., supporting digital access and sustainability efforts across the region.
