Event overview
BBB of Northeast and Central Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex's 19th Annual BBB Torch Awards Shreveport/Bossier City took place at East Ridge Country Club in Shreveport, Louisiana, Thursday, October 30, 2025. This prestigious event recognized and honored 19 distinguished nominees within the Northwest Louisiana market.
The event began with a warm welcome from Robin Guenard, President/CEO, who greeted attendees and set the tone for the event. Bob Davis, outgoing President/CEO, led the Invocation and Pledge, reflecting on the values and commitments upheld by the organization. The ceremony was emceed by Sonja Bailes, Communication and Media Officer for Bossier Schools.
All awards were presented by Mr. Jarrod Horton, Chairman of the BBB Board of Directors, and Mr. Stacy Dart, Vice Chairman of the BBB Board of Directors, recognizing the outstanding achievements of the honored nominees.
Scholarships were presented to students from Louisiana State University - Shreveport, Southern University - Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, Centenary College of Louisiana, and Northwest LA Technical Community College.
Special guest introduction
This year’s speaker was Mr. Will Green, President/CEO, Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI). LABI serves as both the state’s Chamber of Commerce & manufacturing Association, setting the standard for advocacy as the only association that represents businesses of all sizes from a statewide, multi-industry perspective.
