    Business Response

    Hi *****,

Thank you for speaking with me last week regarding the complaint submission referenced above.  As we discussed, I never received the initial messages that were sent since we established that they went to an incorrect email so I'd like to respond to this complaint now.

Mr. ******** was treated at our clinic.  When patients initially begin treatment, they sign a "No Refund" policy due to the fact that nothing in medicine is guaranteed, not even surgery.  Additionally, when patients start their treatment with us, it is explained to them that there are certain things they should avoid throughout their treatments and are given specific discharge instructions about the things they should and should not do that could reduce or hinder the efficacy of our procedures.   Mr. ******** signed the "no Refund" policy and discharge instructions were given to him after every visit.

However, when we became aware that he was not happy with his results, we decided to give him additional treatments at no charge in hopes to improve his outcome because we wanted to work with him in order to try to get him more satisfactory results.  We did our best to make things right by providing complimentary services, which we hoped would help resolve the issue.

When he was scheduled to come in for another complimentary service, he never showed up.   Two of us tried to call him to see if he was coming in or needed to reschedule, but we did not hear back.  Finally, I texted him and his response was "No."

At that point, we had already gone beyond our standard policy in good faith.   My husband did finally speak with Mr. ******** about a week after the last phone call.   In spite of all of our efforts, it was apparent that nothing short of a full refund would make Mr. ******** happy.

We did do everything we could to address his needs within the scope of what was possible to do. Apparently, that we not enough.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond.
