      Had a great experience until receiving a box that gave two of us food poisoning on two separate occasions- both times with packages of beef from the same delivery. Delivery was still frozen when I received it and it went promptly into my freezer and was then cooked from frozen. We both noticed a weird taste to the meat and threw out the rest of our steaks but I suspect the entire shipment was mishandled somewhere along the way before shipment OR the meat was simply not good & shouldve been caught before packaging. *** cancelled my membership and was offered a replacement box (no thank you) or a credit (again, not going to buy from them again) but have instead asked for a refund and have yet to hear back 4 business days later. This exchange began two weeks ago. It took several requests to get the package dates/items in that delivery since I had a previous delivery still in my freezer and wanted to sort and toss the rest of the recent delivery. Perhaps leaving my experience here will expedite their response so we can move on from a very painful week of food poisoning.

      Dumped my box on my neighbors step in the 90 degrees heat. Broken dry ice and open meat on the side walk. No response from customer service for a wk. They refunded $22. For one package. The $150 box was bad.

      I purchased a large quantity of Butcher Box meat from a Butcher Box truck a few weeks ago. I am very disappointed in the quality of the meat. Its horrible. The steaks are so tough, theyre simply not edible. And the hamburger is so fatty we cant grill it because it starts fires on the grill. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Truly, very poor quality meat.

      I have recently moved and as someone who has a large family it was a busy time and I forgot to change my address. We moved to a different state. I didnt realize that I forgot until I got the shipping email. I immediately contacted *** to try and stop it or reroute it or send it back. They said only the sender can do that. I contacted butcher box and they tell me to get a neighbor to get it otherwise they cant help me. Also, I was informed that there is no way to get a refund because the product is bad. All they had to do was stop the delivery. It was still in the same town as the origin. I wouldnt even care about the refund if they would have stopped the shipment and sent it to my address. So now the box is going to be delivered to an empty house and Im out close to $300.

      Everytime I've had an issue, customer service responded immediately and took care of it. Two times my meat came thawed due to weather related delivery problems. Both times they sent another box immediately. I've enjoyed all the products I've tried from them as well.

      Over priced, tough, tasteless, artificially tenderized, and a total waste of money.Very thin cuts, grizzly, no flavor at all. My dog will have to eat this $400 awful product sold to consumers as first rate quality meat.

      Zero stars. I had an incident that took place a few days before Christmas of 2024. I contacted them about it, and I received an email basically stating they would have someone check into it. I heard not one thing after that. I proceeded to send another email in regards to the situation and the unanswered previous email. Still nothing to even let me know if the matter could be resolved. Do not recommend.

      They cancelled my subscription but that did not cancel my order. Be careful when you order from Butcherbox there is NO option to make changes to delivery date at all - even 10 minutes after ordering! I was stuck with a delivery I had no room for in my freezer.

      I used to think they were good until I did the refer a friend and they got scammed. They charged them full price instead of just $20 for shipping. When we sent screenshots and proved that is the link they used they continued to say they didnt and refused to reimburse. You dont talk to a person they will only email. Scammers
